About Robyn:

Robyn Desaulniers (Elliott) is a registered massage therapist, yoga teacher and artist. She finished her extensive massage therapy studies at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, one of the best schools in North America for Massage.

After studying Psychology and Fine Arts at the University of Waterloo, Robyn completed a 500-hour Yoga Teacher training. This training completely changed the way she viewed and interacted with health care. Immediately intrigued by anatomy, functional movement, the mind body connection, and stress management, she rerouted her career path to follow her passion and deepen her understanding of these concepts.

Robyn’s treatments focus on assisting the body back to a state of homeostasis through a therapeutic and intuitive touch combining a variety of techniques: myo-fascial release, trigger point therapy, hydrotherapy, breath work, remedial exercises, and yoga.  Robyn creates a treatment that is individual to each client’s needs.

As a yoga teacher, Robyn is a student at heart: inquisitive and curious. Her love for yoga and desire to learn more about the body/mind/spirit connection began as a teenager in a studio in downtown London. As a competitive athlete, this love blossomed through the noticeable improvement of Robyn Waterfallathletic injuries and performance and she immediately felt deeply connected to the yoga community. She’s explored most hatha yoga, including Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Anusara, hot yoga (Moksha, and Bikram), Yin and Restorative yoga. Robyn’s commitment to a strong asana (physical) practice and extensive knowledge of other yoga styles allows her to bring a sense diversity to the practice room, and connect and cater to individual students. A main focus of her teaching, and self study is based in safe physical alignment and the exciting new research in mindfulness meditation practices. Robyn sees yoga as an integral part of living a well balanced and holistic lifestyle bringing awareness to the physical body, clarity to the mind and consciousness to ones place in the universe. She strongly believes yoga should be accessible, above all, to people of all ages, body types, and backgrounds. Robyn is honoured to be able to bring her own growing knowledge to students, and has a deep sense of gratitude her teachers, who are more often than not her students as well!
